Our Story

A burning idea first born in January 2022, what started out as a few side contracts outside of Felicia's full-time employment beautifully blossomed into our thriving agency today. Felicia left the security of her job in January 2023 to go all in on building The Sweet Spot.

Whilst our agency might be young, Felicia has over seven year's experience in the marketing industry. Read more on her professional career below.

FELICIA AULL

Founder & Lead Digital Marketing Specialist

Felicia's career in marketing and communications started with an internship at the Manawatu Chamber of Commerce. Which then lead to her entry into the workforce as a marketing coordinator responsible for managing the print marketing for Hunting & Fishing New Zealand. From here she quickly made her way up to managing their digital marketing channels. Then it was time for a change, shifting to full-time remote work as Marketing & Content Creation Lead for a creative agency in Australia.

As a high-performer and true gillenial (Gen Z/millenial), Felicia couldn't just work her job. And so during this time she had her first-go at entrepreneurship developing an eco-conscious brand that sold reusable alternatives to single-use plastic items.

She is also a podcast host, where she shares insightful conversations on business, holistic health, lifestyle and wealth creation. You can listen to The Florescence Podcast here.

LARISSA LOCKYER

Marketing Assistant

Larissa is a woman of many talents! She has a huge passion for health and fitness, so much so, she is a qualified Personal Trainer. She loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoying a few too many wines and of course being a Mum. As much as she loves NZ, she is very much looking forward to exploring more of the world soon.

Her professional career started at a cafe in the small town of Taihape. Whilst working full time she studied from home and completed a Bachelor of Business in Marketing. After almost 10 years in Taihape, her and her partner moved to Feilding as she had secured a job at Hunting and Fishing New Zealand, starting as the Website Administrator to then working her way up to their E-commerce Specialist. This is where she met Felicia and they have become good friends since!

Fast forward to now, she is a new Mum with an eight month old girl, Blake. Since becoming a mum she has struggled to return back to work full-time, but now she works for us at the best job ever!! We are very blessed to have Larissa working with us and we can't wait to see how she grows in the role!
